How many mags for your G26/G27/G33 do you guys have? Do you buy enough mags to almost rival the collection of your larger sized Glock mags or do you just keep the two it came with and use the larger Glock mags the rest of the time?

I haven't counted my magazines in a while, but I believe I have at least 12 for my G27 and 8 for my G26. You can never have too many magazines, especially since Glock mags are so cheap.

I think I have more than half a dozen for each. Lost count of them.

I dedicate a small number of each mostly for use at the range, although I periodically run all of my Glock G26/27 magazines through a couple of training sessions.

Since Glock magazines are fairly inexpensive compared to other magazines, I often pick a new one up whenever I have reason to go by the L/E supply store. Whenever I do that, I look through my other magazines to find one with an older magazine follower revision number, and then use the older one as one of the dedicated range magazines.

+1 on you can't have too many mags.

I have three G27 mags with +1 Pearce extensions, three G23 mags with "adapters" and one G22 mag with an "adapter". Any time I see a real good deal on a mag at the gunshow or retail store, I pick it up.

Now for my G21 I have a dozen or more mags...

Allright thanks. Just wondering if I should spend some money for G26 mags or concentreate solely on G17 mags. Money is an object since I'm a college student right now >_<

    For my 2 G21s, I have 8 13-round mags. Just got a new G27; for it I got 2 Glock +2 mags and 2 +2 extensions to convert the 2 in-box 9-round mags.

I like to load several magazines for a trip to the range so I don't need to reload on the line. When I carry the G21 I have only 1 extra magazine.

If I start carrying the G27 as primary, I will carry 1 extra magazine for it also. But I need several trips to the range to validate my G27's function, carry ammo, +2s, etc., before I rely on it.

However many you get, be sure to run some rounds thru them - makes them easier to load (plus you KNOW that they all work fine).

I have four mags for my G26. One is dedicated at all times for personal defense. The other three are available for IDPA competition or range use. All have been tested for reliability. Midway had a great sale on all Glock magazines a month or so ago.

I have six magazines for all the other full-sized pistols that are used in competition (G17, 92FS).

    2-10 rounders with GAP extensions.
10-17 rounders (for my G34 and KT Sub 2000 also. 2 live dedicated to the G34 and 2 dedicated to the KT.) The others go where needed at the time.

4 so far, 2 with GAP plates, one with the stock plate, 1 with +2.

Next time I order stuff, i'll get at least 2 more 12rders, a couple plain 10rds, and a g18 mag or two.

Think you'll be getting more of those GAP plates?

I'm undecided at this point. I want to get another range session or two in with them before I pass final judgement

My G27 off duty setup consists of a 9 round mag with GAP base plate in the gun and one of my G23 13 round mags with an A&G spacer as spare mag.

Yes I would recommend the GAP plate to all very highly. The A&G spacer I'm not sure about yet as far as fit and finish go.

I don't feel the need to purchase too many mags. I just have 3/33round clips and 4 standard mags. The 33 rounders will do the job and I won't have to reload as often.;f

I have the GAP plates on my 26 mags and don't care for them. It hurts to shoot the darn thing because my fingers get smashed when shooting.

after about 200rds with them, I'm neutral. I dont think they really add any more control, and they do add a slight bit of bulk to the bottom of the mag compared to the factory base. So I dont think I'll buy any more, but I wont get rid of these either.

    MHO of course.

I like them...the only problem is that they're 20 bucks a pair. I could buy another mag instead of these. So I dunno. Not sure if it's worth the extra money.

But again, I do like them.
