I am going to shoot amateur sub - compact for the first time at the San Antonio match. I have only the two mags that GLOCK packaged with my 27. Now to the question, may I use any of the family of mags ( 22/35 or 23) in the match? I plan to use the 27 mags until they are used for the first two strings of any stage or course of fire, then if allowable I will switch to the 22 size. Thanking y'all in advance for the info.

    Mike,

I have 2 27 mags that I am bringing for you to use. I thought I would see you at the range but have missed you. I will be there both Sat and Sunday. I think Doug will be working at the plate rack so you can check with him on where I will be.
Sorry I didn't get them to you sooner.

    Bill

Use any of the same caliber, no problem. I used some G20 mags in my G29 when I shot maj/am sub.

I often use my full size magazines with my sub compact. I often compete in 4 classes at a match and have 16 magazines total for my G26. I use the G26 for all of my classes and most of the magazines are full size.
