Magnum PI was fun to watch, the constant narration was cool.

There was an episode where the club/bar was robbed at gunpoint. It was then re-told from several different perspectives. Totally hilarious.

Another episode where Magnum was chasing a serial killer. What was that song that kept playing?

    Yeah, great show, I watched.

That scene with Ivan, classic, great choice! Magnum does what has to be done!

Remember the episode where they're in the jungle, Rick is shot, and Higgins gives him a transfusion with a reed of bamboo?

And yeah, I find alot of the great shows have that narration, same with MacGyver, and Mike Hammer.

It felt a little like Miami Vice.

How about the one where Magnum finds out who Robin Masters REALLY is?

actually, there are 2 others that stand out in my mind:

the one where tc helps out a nam buddy who's degenerated into a strung-out doper by rescuing him off a cargo freighter, then smuggles him back into the islands. he get's caught in the process and temporarily loses everything when the feds catch up to him and seize his assets.

the other one is set on the 4th of july when magnum takes his surf ski out on the ocean and gets dumped by some asshats in a powerboat. he ends up having to tread water for 24 hours before being rescued by the guys.

meh, nerd you ask for, nerd you get... :wavey:

Yes, I remember that one. There was the whole thing with the shark, where he was talking to it, and played "hide and seek", closed his eyes and counted, and the shark was gone. Very trippy...

He was going through memories of his parents and things too..very cool, very different...

probably my favorite show ever. The Ivan one was good and all the stuff leading up to that final scene. Also liked the one with the soul of sung? or what ever it was the vase that the hot chick had and the assasin guy that blinks B4 he kills someone :) I liked the ending...Magnum says don't try it no one is that quick...you see the guy blink and screen turns to black right as you hear Magnums .45 go off :) ...Plus the begining of that one was cool...Sailor guy shows up at bar to meet unassuming skinny asian guy to give him some info...Sailor guy grabs skinny asian guy by side of face/cheek and says what ever it is ive seen them all...kung fu,juditsu, etc,etc guy gets his info and WHAM kills the guy...whang chung..its whang chung lol(or at least thats what I think he says it was lol).

Plus liked the one where the one guy brainwashes TC to fly his chopper to attack some kind of delegates or something..thinks hes back on a mission in Nam :).

.higgins though was my favorite...always made me laugh

Before Seinfeld had his Klein and his Superman, Thomas Magnum had his rubber chicken ...it just didn't show up in every episode.

Believe it or not, I've only watched one episode of Magnum, P.I. and I thought it was pretty decent.

Ironically, it wasn't even about Magnum. It was about his buddy Higgins and I think Patrick McNee starred in it, playing an old friend of Higgins who thought he was Sherlock Holmes or something like that. From what I remember, Higgins had been sad and drinking and told Magnum the story of Patrick McNee's character and his death (I think.)

It's been years since I've seen it so I could be wrong on some of the details but I thought it was a good episode.
