I was cleaning my magazines and noticed the followers pushes down differently than the other. On the first one when you push down the front portion goes down and the back stays up.

On the second one when you push on the follower the whole piece moves down (not just one side)

Sorry for the crappy pics but you can see how one goes down halfway.

Did I mess something up when putting the magazines together?

I can't tell from the picture but Glock has upgraded their magazines followers more than once. You could have one magazine with an old obsolete follower and one with a new follower. I believe if you are a member of GSSF and you got to a match this is one of the things the on-site armorer will upgrade.

If you post better pictures a certified armorer should be able to tell you whether or not this is the case.

I will be posting up better pictures shortly. I do notice a difference on follower design and wording on it. The one that has an issue shows '9mm3' the other one just says 9mm

A few questions in order to help you.
    Are those 9mm mags?
    For what model? G26, G19, G17?
Follower #? A number should be stamped on the follower.
    Stock or extensions used?
    Please let us know.
    Thank you.
