Just for giggles I made the mayo for some egg salad for my wife and I. Never done it before. I used a food processor, added fresh lime juice and chili oil to the standard receipt. Extremely easy. Look and consistency is exactly that of store bought! Taste is no comparison. Don't think I’ll ever buy jar mayo ever again. Did not share with toddler son, just to be safe (raw egg).^7

I've been going to do that for years, just never got around to it yet. I have eaten homemade before and you are right...NO COMPARISON.

Try some homemade butter..Heavy cream in the processor until it gets really creamy and sparates, drain the buttermilk..add salt..Kind of a pain but its worth it..you can also add roasted peppers, garlic or whatever else for somthing extra.
