I noticed that a buddy had a nice Model 28-2 listed on a local board for trade. No cash price given. I had a Springfield EMP, 9mm, in like new condition with all the "stuff" that comes with one that was just gathering dust (I tried carrying it a bit, and just didn't care for it). I dropped him a line and proposed a trade. He accepted. We met up and morning and both left happy.

I had a set of dies for 38 S&W plus a 100 pieces of Starline 38 S&W brass that I didn't need so I tossed those in. He's got a 38 S&W Webley I think he said it was. He tossed in 100 rounds of 44 Special ammo.

    Happy, Happy, Happy...

Lately I’ve seen a lot of M28 pppping up, especially with the 4” barrel.

    I've noticed that too FN.

I'm a 4" barrel snob. The only revolver I've got that doesn't have one, is a Charter Arms Bulldog with a 3" I guess it is. I've got a 1954 K-38 on layaway that has a 6" barrel. I guess I'll make an exception for those two.

I don't carry my EMP much, either. Great gun, but my mode of carry is more DA only (including Glock's action) :)

25 years ago, you could pick one up for less than $200......my guess is the current price for a good one is $600+......and some people are selling them to get something else.

    That looks awesome.

As many model 28's as I've been seeing lately I've been very tempted to pick one up.
