Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of you who might live here in Massachusetts would know if the newer Glocks will ever be able to be sold to the public?
At the moment the 2nd & 3rd gens are all thats available here it's the stupidest thing I ever heard of.

Thanks

Yeah its crazy also the demand is big so we get charged crazy prices. We can only get 3rd & older gens based off of a disagreement between Glock & the Attorney general. Any Glock made after 10/21/98 is considered a no no. Smith & Wessons & Sigs we can get all day go figure

Sean, you could buy a gen 4 glock from a privarte party if you can find one used. It's still ok to own in MA. You should check out northeast shooters they have newer glocks for sale quite often... of course at a premium price.
PS hi caps are not leagal in MA unless pre-ban.

I live in Ma as well. Dealers can only sell pre 98. You can own any handgun in Ma. The non Ma Compliant Guns are just for what dealers are SUPPOSED to not sell.. Northeastshooters is the best place to find new or used Glocks. Gen 3 and Gen 4.. Granted you will over Pay! What are you looking for I just sold a new gen 3 maybe I can get you something..

Four Seasons in Woburn also has a pretty good supply of 2nd and 3rd generation.
And there are many often for sale on northeastshooters.com classifieds.

All Glocks are legal to own in Mass. The only limitation is that RETAILERS can't sell any made post 1998. Private sales are not restricted.

Damn, my bro. lives in Ca. and I thought they had some pretty stupid gun laws(which they do, CA. might as well be a communist country lol) Sounds like MA. is just as bad if not worse.
Sure is bro,
The issue & someone correct me if I'm wrong started with a disagreement between Glock & the MA AG . I guess the AG did not like the Glock design with it not really having a chamber indicator.
Our law enforcement has been carrying them for as long as I can remember not sure if they are going with Smith & Wesson now
