Hello,

I've heard of it now it happened to me. First time shooting this one too.

I have several M&P's and this never happened before to me.

Front sight is off center a bit also. Wondering what to do.

Send the slide to Smith, add nights????????

This happened to my 9c 2 years ago. I bought white Testor model paint and, using a straight pin, put a drop of paint in the empty spot. Stood it butt up so the paint would not run. Works fine - probably has about 3000 rounds on it by now.

Didn't want to fool with S&W and mailing it.

That was option 3 I didn't state.

paint pen w/ fine tip. One drop in sight dish, stand muzzle up. Not a problem in 100s of rounds.

That's fairly common with M&Ps. Happened to mine and several others I've seen. Either re-paint it as others have suggested or use it as an opportunity to upgrade the sights if you wish.
