So I came across a fantastic deal today. My LGS had new M&P 45C's marked way down. I ended up picking one up for 479.00 before the 50.00 dollar mail in rebate. Which means I netted this gun for 429.00 before tax. Anyway, for those that have them, any issues?

I paid $485 for mine very slightly used so you got a deal.

What can you say, it goes bang when you pull the trigger and is comfortable to shoot. I ran it brand new thru a qualification course and pulled 1 out (my fault). Some complain about the trigger but mine is fine.

I got the desert color with ambi safety. I initially wanted a 1911 commander slide/officer frame but they were so freakin' expensive. This was cheaper, same size, less weight, and 2 extra rounds.

Well a quick range trip today. Simply put, it is exactly what I've been looking for. There are not too many pistol platforms I haven't owned and this particular sized M&P just fits my hand exactly right. A nice full grip, without any mag extension (which I generally hate) Well made, plenty of firepower and accuracy is very good. Soft ball sized rapid fire groups are fairly simple. I couldnt be happier. I can see why so many people are pushing for a 9mm in this size from S&W. In addition, as usual S&W customer service is tremendous. I called them up to buy some flat base plates. They shipped a few to me for free. The only "knock" I have, and I knew it going in, is that this is not a lightweight gun. But hey, thats what the M&P 340 is for :)
