I recently got back my G19 from getting re-cerakoted. The original FDE finish was deemed defective after chipping and peeling. Instead of waiting weeks or month I had it done in sniper gray. While I was waiting to get the slide back from Accurate-Iron I ordered an LWD extended and ported barrel for the 19. Luckily the slide and the barrel got here the same day and off to the range I went. 350 rounds later I was happier than a puppie with two peckers. Not one malfunction and it was a joy to shoot. Accuracy gain was minimal but the shot itself had less flip to it making follow ups rediculously easy. It fed more than enough SD rounds to gain my trust. Anyways here's my new carry setup...

Yeah, I couldn't handle that goofy wolf on the barrel hood. No offense to LWD :D

Marketing is marketing. If it was just a rollmark, it would be ok.
But a laser engraved/burned in logo on a stainless barrel? Kinda tacky.

    Anyrate,......it looks GOOD!

what benefits did you find you got from the barrel. It would have to be REALLY beneficial for me to use that as an EDC setup

It makes follow ups incredibly easy. Recoil is also dampened quite a bit not that it really needed but every little bit helps. It fed 350 flawless rounds half of that being my EDC ammo. Works for me.

What would you consider really benefitial?

It's worth it to me for a few reasons. It for one reduces muzzle flip enough to put follow ups into the same hole; It's just as reliable as the stock piece; and it flat out looks f-ing sweet.
