Wondering, will the barrel fit in a Gen 4 22?

I did some Googling on gen 2/3 and gen 4 barrel function compatibility and found that they are interchangeable (per GLOCK), although there is a slight difference in the arc cut of the gen 2/3 bbl and gen 4 bbl on the barrel lug where the RSA is placed for slide assembly to frame.
