Mas, what problems have you experianced in regards to lube and a concealed weapon? Have you found too much/too little to be a problems(read once where it was said too much lube picks up dirt and becomes "lapping compound")? How do you lube your carry 1911's for example.
I feel this is relavant to your column here on self-defense since one's weapon must work to be used in defense of self/family.

I don't lube my revolvers. Stuff becomes a medium to hold crap and turns into sludge. Autos, I lubricate lightly but regularly. Remember that when they're carried muzzle down, lubricant tends to drain.
