The finals are up!
Thanks for the update. I'll print them after supper and update the Hall of Fame then.
Congrats to Team Carver. Some impressive team wins. Good job Donna for high woman and team event. Keep up the good work.;a ;a
Woo-hoo! Congrats Team Carver Mounts, particularly DEJ/FL.
(Don/Jerry, did you guys have some counselling sessions with him on the way home from Lexington, or what...?) ;e
Congrats to all the winners - nice shootin'!
(Yep; shoulda been there.)
Well guess I shouldn't complain but it sure burns my but when I shoot a 99.xx(10TH) in AmCiv and get awarded $25 and another person shoots a 248.xx at 45th and is awarded a new Glock and another shoots a 608.xx (Dead Last) and is awarded $100. Dam I think I have 2 choices: shoot for 1st or 2nd or just spray and pray and depend on the luck of the computerized draw. RANT OVER. At least I can say I was honestly in the top 10. ;?
Actual Top-10 finish duly noted. HOOAH! (it's an Army thing)
Take heart compadre, I've never taken the class either on how to intentionally backup into a position not yet determined.
It's no worse than finishing 49th and getting nothing, when 50th won a new pistol. Been there, done that.
Yep, don't misunderstand my comments. I am happy to see other folks get something that may give them some incentive but I am not sure this system will do that. I don't know a good answer because both the old "Lewis" and the new system have drawbacks to some shooters. I can live with either system. Wish I could think of a better system that would accomplish what Glock intends to accomplish and make all shooters happy but I don't have that magical answer.
I am happy to say that I was in the top 10 and my award (even though small ) was based on score and not just the "Luck of the Draw". I have been in both places and feel better with my true standing.
