Anyone have some good loading data including OAL info?? It appears the rounds I use in my 1911's will not load in my G21.

Amount/degree of exposed shoulder above the case mouth can also cause functioning/ extraction/ stovepipe issues...

Additionally, the factory barrel can lead quickly, leading to dangerous levels of increased pressure. Get an aftermarker bbl, and, even then, look for RNFP bullets...

Loading manual will have all the cart spec's. Wilson case gauges work well.

I have a Lone wolf barrel for mine and I am using the 200 grn LSWC sized at .252. You must seat them almost all the way to the top of the shoulder or they hang up going into battey.

My buddy & I shot 100s through his G21. The load was 4.9gr of WST @ 1.255"OAL. It was a Magma style bullet. Your bullet may be a bit diff, but it wants just 1/32" (0.03") or so of shoulder above the case mouth to feed. If you use a OEM bbl., clean it every 100rds or so.

Lymans, Hornady, and Loadbooks. All have good load data with OAL.

I like lead bullets and got the Lonewolf barrel for my 21. I use the 200 grain Lead Round Nose Flat Point over six grains of Unique. A Lee factory taper crimp seems to smooth everything out.

What length do you have them loaded at? What you can do is seat them a shorter until they do work. Your accuracy well probably be affected a little bit, But good enough for practice.

I went ahead and measured some LSWC's(HG68) that I have loaded for my stock barrel G21. They are loaded at an OAL(back of case to top of bullet) of 1.245. No problems feeding in mine at that length, in fact they feed as well as ball. If you use a hardcast bullet and keep the velocity down below about 850fps with a faster powder, you probably wont have any problems. Check your barrel regularly as you shoot, until you prove the load safe. I currently have rounds loaded at 4.6gr 700x and 5gr Bullseye. Both are loaded at the same OAL and neither lead the barrel much on my g21.

4.7 gr of win 231 here pushing the 200gr SWC. No issues thus far but it was just a trial run of 25. OAL was 1.255
