I just checked on lower parts kits. I either used high end stuff from V7 or Anderson for everything else.

Anderson (and other brands) seem to start being sold out due to AW ban topics being back in the news. Also, Anderson parts kits received pretty bad reviews on primaryarms.com lately.

What are good lower parts kits these days in the $60 range including firing croup?

AR Stoner LPKs work fine for me.

MidwayUSA has them now.

They also have it without the trigger group and handgrip which often get customized.

Thank you!

If I go with just the parts kit, what would be a good trigger to compliment? This will not be for any current builds, just something for the parts bucket in case of another panic.

Are there any halfway decent triggers in the $60 range?

A Palmetto State armory kit arrived at my door yesterday. I’ve used Daniel Defense and Spikes in the past. I picked the new one up for $99 and it included the buffer tube, spring and buffer.

Funny you should ask! AR Stoner again. They have an enhanced trigger group that is a very good value. Not a McCormick, Timney or a Geissele; but much better than stock.

I'm going with the ACT that faawrenchbndr recommends (69.) to see how I like it. I've got 2 Tac-Con 3-MR that are in certain guns. Everything else LPK''s PSA, Anderson that I've polished and bagged, springs, hammers all in spare parts. I use JP springs.

I have a CMMG. Not many rounds through it, so I can't speak for the quality.

As far as lower parts kits, I’ve used many of the common brands. I’ve only had on issue with any. I had a DPMS hammer pin break.

Hi MO...Please tell me how you got any rounds through it. Do you need a certain form?
After completing the pink lower, I put my 458 upper on it for test. I like the ACT trigger, and will buy more.

What I do when it comes to spare parts inventory is that I know I'll build something. So I'll buy a few parts every month that I know I'll need. Couple gas blocks, tubes, buffer spring or two, F.C. parts etc.
