I have a g19 gen 5 mos, with trijicon type 2 rmr. Looking for backup night sights. I really like the XS DXT Standard Dot suppressor sights, but don't know if they will give me a lower 1/3. What options are there for lower 1/3 co-witness? The rmr sits lower because of the bottom battery compartment, but the mos is not as deep as a custom milled slide, so that raises the rmr up a little. Will I need suppressor sites either way? This is such a mess!

I don't know if I would call it a mess. Taller sights are to be expected if you're adding an optic. I would imagine 4-5mm sights would get you there. One third isn't a rule. You just need to be able to effectively use your irons if the optic fails. There may be some trial and error. I personally started with 3mm sights and I wasn't satisfied so I went with 5mm and I'm happy. The 5s actually put me in the lower quarter of my SRO and it's perfect.
