Bravo! The Gen4 G22 is a fantastic pistol. Start saving for a Gen4 G27.
Outstanding! I don't own a .40 but am thinking about getting one of these.

Where are you back from?

You should get Glock 22 Gen4 .40 do not listen to the hype on the internet i love the gun and iam going to buy more Glocks.

The gun shoots great very accurate and not much recoil i cant stop shooting it i hate when i have to come to work because i know i cant shoot. the gun will not disappoint you.
Also bought mine in September (picked up on Labor Day Weekend). 1675 flawless rounds downrange so far, 300 of them with the TLR-1 mounted. I am sure you will continue to enjoy this terrific piece of engineering as much as I do. Also have a Gen.3 G27 and agree with the previous post that Gen. 4 would make a great next purchase. Really love my 27 too it is my constant companion as I front pocket carry in my Carhartt carpenter jeans and the G22 is a little to large for that (at least without startling the ladies!). Put the light on the 22 as it is now my nightstand as well as primary range gun. Took this pic last night after returning from the range.

I got mine back on Oct. 11, 2010. This is my first Glock and I like mine alot also. I had been reading alot of info about Glocks and finally took the plunge. I research just about everything that my funds are spent on, the internet makes it really easy to research just about everything. The trigger reset is really pronounced and I like that alot.
I really like my G22.

Bigpoppie50, thanks for your reply i agree with what you said, research just about everything funds are spent on thats why iam not sure if i want to reload my self i love to shoot my gun but iam starting to feel it in my pocket so either i slow down a bit or reload iam just trying to figure out if its worth the money to reload.

Vince49,thanks for your reply iam happy to be on Glock talk also i might use your photo as a background.
I also am a recent G22/gen4 owner. I have the gen3 22, 23, and 27 - just wanted to get a better understanding of what gen4 had to offer. I'm very pleased with mine and will be trying a gen4 G26, G27, or G39 at first opportunity.
I recently bought a Gen 3 G22, And it is starting to become my favorite Glock. I may use my GSSF discount and buy a Gen 4 G22(or G23)
I really like my G22.
I don't own a .40 presently but am planning on a G23 or 22 (gen 4s) next year.

Some of the finest gunfighters in history sport G22s. ;) ;) You guys are in good company.
Congrats!!
glockisrock, I buy my practice ammo from Wally World(100pack 165gr WWB @ $28) This helps instead of shooting my expensive carry ammo although I shoot it from time to time just to make sure.
I agree 100%.

I have never owned a better shooting .40 of any brand.
In fact, I like shooting it better than my G17.

The G22 ROCKS! :2gun:
Glad you like it. I like the Gen3 better and carry mine often.
Love the G22.
