Somehow I don't think I'll be seeing too many replies.
I'd try them, but I can't see myself getting excited about wolfing down a big plate full!
If they taste like anything else, I'd rather go with that instead, and I love stuff like tripe and sweetbreads...
They'd have to be damn good, and I don't see why they would be...
I put on a wild game feed several years ago. A friend of mine brought over a bucket full(1/2 gallon) of 'em from pigs he had cut that morning. We deep fried them. I ate ONE, just to say I did. They just don't ring my bell.
Sounds like you had a ball!
Yessir...only ONE ball.
;z ;z ;z ;c
They taste like chicken....
A friend of mine's Dad was a large animal vet and he saved all the "fruits" of his work and threw a party every spring...they were tasty...although I had to get over the initial sympathetic pang!

The testicle festival is held every September at the Rock Creek Lodge in Clinton MT (406) 825 4868. Many, many oysters are eaten that weekend.
IMHO, they are quite tasty
Yeah sure...I had a ball eatin' my one and only one. ;Q
I don't love them, but they aren't bad either. Doesn't really bother me. Pork ones are the best.
Testicle festival? Geez, what a name ;z ;z ;z ;z
sounds like you need to be nuts to eat them ;g
I've had mountain oysters a few times and they just didn't do much for me. There isn't much of a taste or a texture, rather bland. This is probably a dish that one eats just to claim to do so.
You guys eat balls? groos, who ever thought of such a horrible thing, whats next, chitlins?
If you ever et decent sausage, den you et chitlin's!
It's all in how ya cook'em.
