Ok, I tried to watch it during its run, and for some reason, it just didn't really interest me.

Well, fast forward to this weekend, and I've been a little under the weather. Not much on TV to speak of, so I decided to start watching "LOST" from the beginning on Netflix.

I'm now completely hooked. What an incredible series w/ tons of characters, etc. I realize now I probably didn't like it because I'd watch an episode, miss a few weeks, watch half an episode, etc.. This isn't really a series you can do that as so much the current episode intertwines with what happened in previous episodes. I've watched the first season and the first two episodes of the 2nd season... I'm gonna try to watch at least an episode a day till I'm finished with it. At that rate, it will probably take me a couple of months to finish.

    Awesome show.

I did the same thing, IGF - watched it on Netflix and got into it. Really good series. Shannon is hot!

What did one snowman say to the other snowman?

I'm still waiting for a television show that can match "Lost" in quality, depth, and even music score.

So far, nothing since then even comes close.

I watched Lost from beginning to end and I loved the series. My favorite character was Sayid:cool:

I think the show has a lot of depth. It should probably be watched more than once to pick up everything.

    BTW,

I can't believe how it ended..........Tom Cruise & John Travolta coming down in space ships and explaining to them the truth of the mother ship and the trapped alien souls:shocked:

I'm currently on season 5. I thought some of the twists would get cleared up as it went along, but it just keeps getting weirder.

    They're lost. They're found. They're lost. They're found.

    What's the mystery?

I'm up to season 3 on Netflix. I am also hooked, after never watching it before. I think I liked Season 1 the best, but Mr. Eko, starting in season 2, has been my favorite character so far, surpassing Locke and Sayid.

I like how the flashbacks show the survivors inadvertently interacting or crossing paths and not even knowing how fate would play out.

Shannon causes Sayid to get detained at the airport.
When Shannon finds out her father dies and is talking to the Doctor... Jack walks by.

(this one is kinda hard to catch if you're not paying attention)
When Sun and Lin are in their apartment (she's sitting on the couch with her dog), she is watching TV. On the TV, you see Hurley getting in a vehicle. I'm assuming it's a news story about him winning the lotto.

There's lots of others as well.

You do realize that none of these people are real? It turns out they're merely molecules underneath the fingernail of a huge cosmic giant. That's the finale. The camera zooms out and the giant cleans his nails. Show over.

In fact, Jack walks by as he's going to operate on his eventual wife-to-be, who was paralyzed in the head-on collision with Shannon's father.

How's that for coincidence, brother? ;)
