If this is the wrong place to post this please excuse me; from the description, this seemed to be the right place.

Does anybody KNOW where one can order reasonably priced .223 and 7.62x39 that has it in stock?

I'd try giving Natchez a call.

    natchezss.com

They're pretty fast when it comes to shipping.

Thanks for the tip. 2 add ons though

    1) I noticed a good buy on .30-30 (manufactured by Prvi Partizan in Serbia) does anybody have any feedback on this ammo?

    2) looks like aimsurplus will take care of my .223 and .30-30 but doesn't look like any 7.62x39 ... any ideas anybody??

    :agree:

AIM Surplus has Guatamalan M193 and Radway Green SS109 in stock. Both are in stock at very reasonable prices, with the M193 coming out to around 17 cents per round and the SS109 at 18 cents, although the RG comes with stripper clips and an ammo can so you get a little bonus.

I have purchased two cases (1,440 rds each) of the Guat M193. Be aware that SOME of the ammo may be tarnished, corroded and/or infested with bugs/bug droppings.

You can see pics of the battlepacks that I got with bug droppings in this thread on ar15.com and from someone else on this thread as well.

You can see some pics of corroded cases (mine) on this thread.

Keep in mind that all the above ammo, corroded, bug-infested or whatever, all went bang without an issue. I fired out 360 rounds of that rusty ammo and all of it worked fine.

IMO the Guat M193 is the best deal going; you are not going to find M193 spec ammo for anything less than $220-240 per thousand. If you are unhappy with the ammo for any reason it appears that AIM will take it back, no questions asked.

Supposedly Cabela's has been shipping Wolf 7.62x39mm recently. Check out this thread.

Unfortunately pricing is nothing like when they had that sale in March ($99 per thousand, with two free dry storage boxes per order) but at least they have it in stock and it is a reputable company.

Just checked and it is at $135 per thousand (with 2 dry storage boxes) per thousand. Normal price is $165 so you are saving thirty bux.

Wolf .223 is now $95/1000 at the Sportsmen's Guide, if you are willing to wait until Aug 1, 2006.
