I am looking for a bobbed hammer for a SP-101. Anyone have any ideas where I could find one other than Ruger? They want the gun returned for an installation. That gets pretty expensive when shipping is involved.

    Thanks!!

I have checked with them before but haven't had any luck yet.

Did it drop right in with out any fitting?

    Thanks!

Yes, I kept the original and bobbed the new one. Slipped right in, no problems.

    Try Gunbroker.

I got one through evilbay when they still allowed hammers to be listed, and it dropped right into my 3.06" SP101, actually improving the DA trigger pull while, of course, eliminating the SA option.

Another option is having a local 'smith bob or semi-bob the spur.
