I'm thinking a G34 with a light and maybe a halo sight or something. Has anyone set up a longslide for this purpose?

Outside rifle for sureHow are you going to kill a coyote running at 100 yards with a pistol?
Get a rifle.
Get yourself a pistol caliber carbine, like the CX4 Storm.I'm thinking a G34 with a light and maybe a halo sight or something. Has anyone set up a longslide for this purpose?

I'm down in a draw and all of a sudden I see a pack of 9 coyotes up on a small rise headed for the livestock. Distance 125 yards moving at an angle about 5 mph. You have to take out the leader, and fast.I've got a G 24. With some Double tap 180 gr. it churns out a incredible 640 foot pounds of energy per shot according to my crony.. If I load up a 22 round clip I've got the most powerful all factory handgun ever made energy wise. 23 rounds total at 640 foot pounds each.I havn't took a coyote out to 100 yards but I would be very confident at 50 with a rest. The thing is lazer accurate.
In my opinion you can't go wrong with any of the longer than standard Glock "Practical/Tactical" pistol models; the G34 in 9mm, the G35 in 40S&W, or the G41 in 45ACP. Their longer slide/barreled bretheren are the G17L in 9mm, G24 in 40S&W, or the G40 in 10mm.I'm thinking a G34 with a light and maybe a halo sight or something.
