Is it legal to use longer Glock factory barrels in GSSF matches? For example can I place the barrel of a G35 (5.32inch/.40sw) into my G22 (4.49inch/.40sw)? If so will this help accuracy at long ranges at all?

It is questionable if GSSF would allow it, but you really gain no accuracy, only velocity.

I don't see why they wouldn't allow it. They are all Glock parts, and they're compatible. My only concern would be whether or not the G35 barrel would make his G22 count as a G35 and not be usable in AmCiv.

I think jlewis hit the nail on the head. A question very similiar to this came up awhile back and I am pretty sure the answer was "no" as far as AmCiv was concerned but it would be allowed maybe in competition and most anything is allowed in U/L as long as it is Glock and is safe. G34/35/24/17L are not legal in AmCiv and putting a 35 barrel in a G22 slide is really now changing the 22 into a 35.

    Say is "Comrade Bork" back in town?????;P ;P ;P ;P ;P

IIRC the locking lugs on the 34 barrel are different than on the 26 & will not work. They are not interchangeable. Tony

I think that's why he has the rolling smiley. Putting a 34 barrel into a 26 would require some serious gunsmithing skills.
