I wanted to share (another) my experience with the 40-9 conversion barrel from Lone Wolf. I bought a new G23 (gen 3?) a few years ago because of the flexibility to change it to 9mm for the range. This would reduce the cost of ownership over time. We all know 40mm ammo is expensive and scarce at times. Configuration: G23 with LW 9mm conversion barrel and oem Glock 9mm magazines. I did my reading and decided to take the advice of LW and others by putting through 25 rounds of +P ammo (expensive). Then I put through 50 rounds of general 115g ammo. On that range day, I did have a few failure to feeds, always on the first feed as I put the magazine in. I realized I wasn't using enough force when loading the magazine. If I jamed the magazine in harder, it was fine. Since then, I've had no issues feeding the first round. The second range day I put through 50 rounds. One failure to feed. I went out today and shot 100 rounds. One failure to eject. So in all, it's been perfectly acceptable for the range. As others have stated, I would not rely on this for carry duty. I'll stick with the oem 40mm barrel from Glock for home defense and carry.
