Is there a standard length of time that elapses where I'm automatically logged out if there are no inputs from a user?

Several times now I've been in the middle of replying to a post when I leave my computer for several minutes. When I return to finish, and then submit I get the log-in screen and my "work in progress" is lost! :(
It doesn't seem I'm gone that long...I understand the need for "log out due to inactivity", but it seems kinda quick.

If I knew how much time I had, it would be very helpful. Thanks!

I've never had GT log me off even when I have been away for a couple of hours.

    What browser are you using?

    I'm using IE v6.0

Hmmm...my browser has been acting funny lately, like refusing to open web pages I used to go to with no problem, and I can't open a second home page - if you know what I mean. I'm going to the IE site to see if there's a patch/update I need.

Also try dumping your temp files and cookies...then log back onto GT.
