I am about to spring for a Mech Tech carbine for my Glock 20 frame. I have loaded 10gr. Blue Dot under 180gr. jhp for my Glock 20 and I like that. Any suggestions on loading for a carbine (16 inch barrel) for 10mm? Slower powder? Other ideas on how to do this? Other general thoughts on loading for pistol caliber carbines? Thanks. jrh

I dont load for a 10mm carbine, but handgun rds in rifles, same, same. If you want max vel, then slower powders will get you there, short or long bbl. For 10mm, i would give AA#9 a try. In a longer bbl, slower powders have more time to burn, generating more pressure behind th bullet.
