Had an idea for a good thread, post your favorite shortcuts for Windows that few people might know about.

    Here's a few of mine:

    General
SHIFT+F10 is the equivalent of Right-Click with mouse.

    WINDOWS+E opens Windows Explorer

    Windows Explorer

    * on the numeric keypad = expands a directory and all the directories under it.

ALT-Double-Click or ALT-ENTER = Displays the properties of a file.

    Backspace = Up One Folder

    Ctrl-Shft-Esc: Task manager
Windows-L: Main XP login screen (keeps you logged in though)

In MS Office, Shift-F3 cycles the selection through lowercase, title case, all caps.

    Just some of my favorites.

Windows-D will toggle all open windows up or down. Good when your playing solitaire and the boss is coming :)

    Windows + L = Lock Workstation. I didn't know about Ctrl-Shft-Esc, Thanks!

I had to cut my post short last night, the dang power went out.

    Here's some more:

Close, tile, or minimize Multiple programs at once:
Choose the programs and documents you want to close by holding down the CTRL key while you click each item's button on the taskbar.
Right-click one of the selected buttons, and then choose Close or Minimize.

ESC can close a menu or dialog, also will abort a drag operation, such as when you start to drag a file or URL.

    Windows + M = Minimize All Programs
    SHIFT + Windows + M = Un-Minimize All Programs

    And another cool one:

Windows + BREAK = System Properties - Very Cool.
