I don't know why I made these... but they come in handy. Its just an NRA D1 with a premeasured 1" grid behind the scoring circles. I print these out at 50% on 11x17 cardstock for practice or I paste the center section onto a shoddily made cardboard backer as a replacement center. Its very affordable.

I have three different version. NRAD1grid.pdf is a heavy lined reproduction so you can see everything from 25 yards clearly. Usefull for knowing where your shots went after your string without leaving your shooting spot.

NRAD1gridlight.pdf is the same thing only with very light stroke on the lines so that you can aim for center mass without distraction.

NRAD1gridred.pdf is the same thing as light only with a bright red X ring to help learn sight alignment. I also like to cut the center out of this one and tape it to shoddily made cardboard circles to practice the plates.

I get lots of use out of them... maybe someone else will too.

^c Ditto - thanks for the sharing your effort. These will be especially useful as I get the junior & female family members acclimated to the shape.

I'm glad other people will get some use out of it. I made up a few easy targets in Illustrator. I like the 1" grid so I can make an on the spot measurement of my accuracy during slow fire. I have another target with 1" concentric circles coming down to a 2" red bullseye on a 1" grid that I think is really cost effective for training. The outside ring is 8" so it makes a dandy plate substitute so I can see where I'm hitting on plate practice. When I get to work tomorrow I'll post it. Anything you print at home on the fly I figure is usefull.

Here's my 8.5x11 practice target that also doubles as my practice plate center. I don't know if anyone needs these but I figure it dosn't hurt to share. I like the red center for sight alignment practice.
