I'm use to Microsoft Outlook on Windows XP.

If I convert one of my laptops to Linux, what email clients are available for it?
    Anything remotely like Outlook?

    Thanks in advance

Thunderbird should be fairly close to outlook. It might take a bit of customization...but that's Linux.

Evolution is another option, I used it briefly and didn't really care for it.

And I thought Evolution was much more like Outlook. Thunderbird is my favorite though since I don't always use Gnome.

Sylpheed Claws (I think that one is still around, it used to be the default mail program for Flux based systems... very fast and light... but as a result, lacks some features)

A helpful Link to have for questions like this.... Search for the Mac/Windows program you need, and it will kickback any Linux Alternatives... The list isn't all inclusive, but its a big help for questions like this.

    For example...
