    I usually sit in the middle till someone else shows up, then I pick one lane and commit to that side.


    I wouldn’t have argued with you about it though, I’d have just pulled around you and forced you to take the other bay

    I have done the same thing if no one is behind me. If someone pulls up behind me, I will pick one and hope it is the right one. Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't.

    You were intelligently correct. The other bum lacks patience and, understandably, has no grasp of how queing theory gives each person the shortest wait. You can’t fix stupid.
