I keep forgetting to turn left out of the driveway because turn right and there is construction.

Turn right and construction goes from 3 lanes to one in one mile. It's been like this for months. As soon as I see it I get into that line and wait my turn for the next half mile. I end up to be that dick that blocks the other lanes in my big azz truck that doesn't let the other people by that cant wait their turn.

    Poor Matthew!

So you're waiting for the next lane to open in an effort to save time, yet you're asking the driver behind you WTH his/her hurry is? Do you not see the irony?

Also, what happened to common courtesy?

I agree with the earlier post to follow the lane markings.

The business needs to put up a sign saying so, as this is the reasonable system, but a bank doing this may not have enough room to accommodate the line that might form.

This is what I do. I'll sit in the middle until someone else drives up, at which time I will choose one.

'Ol Grandad was likely kidding, but if he was not, "rude" isn't what I would call him.

People do that at casinos here...there are 4 or 5 windows open, yet they all get into a single-file line a mile long, only because ONE PERSON started it...I walk right past them, then step up and get service...if/when the people in the line actually say something to me about it, I just point to the sign on the wall that none of them bothered to read, that says: "Please form a line at each window"

There have been lines at bank drive ups as long as their have been banks, windows, and cars. FAR long than YOU have even been alive.

LORD PRAISE THE WORD IS BLESSED THE DAY YOU WERE BORN! We've all been waiting for the savior so you can teach us all the proper way to operate a drive up window line!

Pick a line and get in it and out of the way moron.

This is why lawn mowers need a sign now to tell people not to stick their hands under it while running.

I see no reason to make personal attacks. :dunno:

Plus you should add a comma before “moron”.

You don't have to be such a dick. Put that on a plaque and hang it at your next job.

The best way to handle the whole bank line thing is to back into the exit, be ready, and as soon as someone starts pulling out of a sport back in real fast.

The person waiting in line at that spot is probably eat/texting/makeup/talking on phone/smacking kids around (or all of the above). It generally take them 30 seconds to be aware the car in the line has moved out. So, you can take up that spot before they even notice. Then there is no waiting in line.

I had a 28 foot boat trailer. I tried to gas up my 42 gallon trunk before I left with the trailer. I tried to keep an extra 5 gallon can in the truck just in case I had to get gas in a station set up for nothing bigger than a civic. I had a woman pull up a corolla almost 90 degrees from the gas pump while my truck and trailer was in a long narrow spot. She pulled in driving from betwen the pumps and hit her car into the concrete pole near the pump. She should not have a drivers license or a car at all

I just got slammed for this on here when some guy tried to pull in front of me (and the 5 behind me) at a Culver's. It was the typical f yous and flip offs. The line was clearly formed. All I heard was I was being petty.

He got out of his minivan. I've watched enough ASP to realize a car can be a coffin. His wife talked him down but if he would have come over to me with anything in hand its draw and fire. He left without getting to cut me off.

People today have gotten beyond stupid.

Are you trying to say that something similar happened to you, you started a post here about it, and the majority said you were in the wrong?
