    Check over on Rimfirecentreal.com

A couple of guys there claim they work. For $20 it would seem worth a try.

I would thank that on any heavy recoiling centerfire that it would move around under recoil and not be very effective.

The Barrel De-Resonator is a lot smaller than most barrels and should be a challenge to slide down the barrel, so I doubt it would move around much, but it's possible.

Sims suggests putting it about 1" from the forend stock or and inch or two from the muzzle.

True, but with constant firing of a center fire rifle I imagine it would walk around a bit.

The only reports I've heard of it were from guys with it on a rimfire.
