In all fairness, Trump didn't deploy the Minnesota National Guards or police who shot the peaceful law-abiding residents with paintballs.

It was the Democrat governor of Minnesota who deployed them.

However, Trump's speech tonight was not exactly encouraging from a pro-freedom perspective.

I'm not willing to give up our constitutional rights and freedoms, and turn America into a police state, just so the bots can gloat on Facebook about "owning the libs".

It’s a fine balance and it’s much more than just bragging on FB.

Precious few see this for what it is: a Communist-led coup attempt using poor, disenfranchised Blacks as “the fodder” being led and set up by Antifa, BANM and their handlers.

With that filter take another look at what Trump is doing/trying to do.

It’s *STILL* a precarious situation. I agree that I’m not willing to hand over the Constitution but we really already have - long time ago. We are trying to get it back.

I’m no “L’Orangist” (one who never questions Trump’s actions or motivations) and I watch closely all that he does but I think I agree with him here: of the states refuse to do it then I would send in combat troops. Yes, the media will say “he’s Hitler reincarnated” but knowing this Trump needs to educate the media and public on the separation of powers and who is responsible for what.

He also needs to discuss States’ Militias... why don’t each state have one????? If they did we would not need the Fed to declare a National Emergency (which this is surely turning out to be).

    Just my two cents.

Then, they would have lit you the **** up with paintballs. Who's the winner there?

States’ Militia... like this; LEGAL & LAWFUL (answers to the Governor - and I’m thinking the Mayor or Sheriff).

True, but I wish there were enough sensible citizens or politicians to amend the state Constitution so it includes a right for non-felons to do their own dispensing of gas into their car's gas tanks.

If only arson, theft, assault, and conspiracy to incite a riot while NOT on one's own front porch were ALSO misdemeanors where non-compliance resulted in more projectiles being authorized to gain compliance.

Yay! They have made progress since my last visit there about 8 years ago. Now if they could just get the prices at the Tillamook food court down to "affordable," ....

The admission and samples are free. The food court prices are a bargain. HH

My thought through this whole mess is this: You want a dystopian 1984 government? ...because this is how we will bring in a dystopian 1984-type government.

A criminal government can put that crap in writing - still does not make it lawful.

What law? A curfew order that told people they had to follow unlawful orders?

I was in Oregon long before I was 16. Dad pulled in, I fueled up, guy yelled at me, I told him to back off... seems adults couldn’t figure out pumps I could run at 12 yrs old.
I have ALWAYS made it a point to keep service station folk away from whatever I’m driving. NEVER under the hood. I don’t need fanbelt 2 weeks old to fail, tires to get nails, oil to show low...
When cars had external hood releases it was a PITA on road trips. I had to secure the hood.
I’ve only been in NJ once. I could have lived never going there.
