just got my lifetime membership card yesterday and it has an experation date on it, 2055. i'll tell you what if it turns out i have to send them another check to renew when i'm 96 i'm going to be pissed. however i doubt it'll be much of an issue, i did think it was funny seeing the date on there and it saying life member.

In 50 years I'll be 81 and some nurse in a nursing home will be spoon feeding me apple sauce. I doubt I'll be worried about my GSSF membership.

I bit the bullet this year and renewed for lifetime. My card says the EXACT same thing, you took the words right out of my mouth. Actually, I think I said "WTF!" If I'm still kickin' when I'm that old, I plan on shooting. (Assuming I can even see the gun when I'm that old.)

I've been a "Life Member" since 2000 and when I got my card, it had the 2055 expiration date!! I called a friend at GSSF and asked if they knew something I DID'NT!;Q I was told that if I was still around, they would issue a new membership card with a new expiration date!

Better get that in writing. The odds of the current GSSF staff being around in 50 years AND remembering that promise are pretty slim. ;f

You'll probably end up dealing with some 'kid' who calls you an 'old fart' and asks if you want a senior citizen discount.
