Several years ago there was a push in Virginia for a lifetime CCW. They said that FUNDING was the only problem. It has yet to happen.
Those Repulicans can not pay for roads, much less give us a lifetime CCW.

Yeah, I was interested in this one myself as when I got my ccw I was in the time frame when I should have gotten lifetime but only got the 5 year version. When I asked I was told that the program wasn't funded. I sort of think that someone may have done the simple math and figured out $50 for a life version vs. $50 every 5 years meant a reduction in $ coming in? At any rate, if we end up with the govener being VP for Obama, we may just count our blessings on getting 5 years.

Lifetime CCW is an idea I'd like to see happen, but I look at other states that don't have CCW or the stuff others have to go through in their states and I'm inclined to think we ain't got it all that bad. I'd compromise to pay less every 5 years, which would be easier to push through the legislation.
