Post your pics. Nasty rain the last 1/2 way down from our MN-WI digs, but Sat AM was breezy & clearing, and warm enough to make the parking "lots" interesting for a few at the stages. But everything was ready and managed in good order, as usual. Scores were a mix, but I'll let the others post about that. Glad we hit the clubhouse as we were pretty much headed out to find Don, Dan and Jerry and Bobby (and a host of others) and have the chance to say hi.

dp177's "partner" (Andrea) I mentioned in the previous thread is a fellow officer on Dwight's department, at her first match, and I managed to catch a couple shots of her - she's part of "the Gang" now, as she can hold her own and gives no quarter to Dwight (off the shooting line anyway, which immediately endeared her to my heart). (dp177 desires that I make clear that 'partner' as used here does not have some other meaning for those who may watch too much Bravo Channel.)

Thanks to Butch's lovely wife Barb for taking the group photos at the end, another of my favorite people. There are some videos taken during the trip, including dp177 doing a mean rap along with Rascal Flats - (hey, there's alot of talent there) but, alas, didn't extract the stills for posting - they shall remain in private circulation. Always a barrel of laughs at a GSSF match; fun shooting with good friends!

Andrea was also able to visit her Uncle (in red USMC RVN Vet cap) :patriot:

ede and Festus with Fastus tearing up the 5 to G.

I really cannot imagine. Two "Magnaminous Individuals" such as you should be posted all over GT and not just on "Most Wanted Posters" in the local Post Offices. :tongueout:   :wavey: :animlol:

Despite the fact that it was a cool, breezy, and slightly muddy day, the match went well. The RO's did a great job running the match, I didn't get my van stuck in the mud, I managed to shoot my personal best score in Master Stock, and had a great time!

Unfortunately we (me, my wife, our son, and his wife) arrived near an hour after the other crew from the North, so we weren’t able to shoot together. But they did get done in time to come down and watch Christopher and I shoot our last stage, the plates.

Knowing that Dwight would do his very best to be as helpful to my shooting as possible by giving any advise that he felt could help, I showed him exactly where to locate himself so I could best hear him while I shot......

    It worked! I shot well!

Chris (Mr. Edwards) wasn't there, after hearing about his flight, he was either recooperating or doing laundry.
