either a platform or model, and add the feature(s) you would like to add on or remove.
Fitted barrel and bushing. Kings plain black hardball sights. Double diamond checkered grips. High matchless polish and blue.
Remove Any features not present on the original prior to WWI.
1911 and I like them with a variety of different features and configurations.
S&W 627 without Safe T hammer.
S&W double-action revolver.
Remove the "self-actuating" Nanny-State lock!
Since I pretty much like 1911s as they are from most major manufacturers, I'll go with this one:
Any and all Glocks without their front strap finger abominations, and relieve the area between the front strap and the trigger guard while we're replacing the frame molds.
Generation 3 was a disaster. I can't wait for Glock to move beyond the egregious ergonomic sins that only serve to make Generations 1 and 2 look like a Golden Age of intelligent Austrian choices. Maybe by the time S&W has kicked Glock in the rump enough to get to Generation 5, because 4 still looks sucktastic.
625, no lock, unfluted cylinder, 3" barrel. BOOM!
H&K USP in DA/SA configuration...
That danged safety lever gets in the way of my thumb.
Sig P250 sub-compact...
Wish there was a pinky extension on the magazine.
on the beretta 92fs i'd like the safety/decocker moved down to the frame.
Glock, with a crisp break around 6-7 lbs, a little longer take up that's just about a pound heavier than the take up is now. To me that would be "Perfection". I know, I know, everybody else wants a trigger to trip when they so much as touch it. That's just not my preference.
There is no reference to what it is for, so for pure design, give me a P-08 Luger. The closest substitute is the Ruger Mark series.
1911 remove the grips safety, or add a pin at the very tip of the beaver tail so it only moves one way (off) unlike the see saw model that it is now.
GLOCK - Make the firing pin stop reset when the slide cycles. More chamber support. Offer a steel guide rod and front cocking serrations on the G34 and G35.
HK - LEM, shorter reset
Sig - More the dang slide stop forward. Lower the bore axis.
XD - Lower the bore axis... then lower it some more.
Beretta - Bring back the Elite II. Make an interchangable mainspring housing so that one frame can be a standard or Vertec like grip. Stop putting plastic triggers in 92 series guns. It doesn't work, since it wasn't designed to be plastic (unlike the GLOCK trigger which works).
M&P - Get rid of the hinged trigger. The trigger in trigger (ala GLOCK) is OK to use now (see XD and SR-9). Also, the M&P is a single action, stop fibbing about that.
Ok, I guess I've thought about this.
Boberg new gun to look for.
I may give Glocks up when they made a 10 mm.
My favor 9mm: Browning Hi Power
Add front slide serration. No only I think it looks nice, it also help when one with to do a field strip.
Redesign the safety. The MkIII is a step up of the old one but still fall short when compare to 1911 style. It need to be larger, smoother and more noticeable when switch on/off.
Get rid of that stupid magazine disconnect safety. I don't know why it there the first place. Damn French military bastard JMB's design.
Extended the grip just a little to fit at lease 2 more rounds into the gun. Hi Power is the grandfather of all wonder nines. But at this day of age, 13rd of 9mm is good but not great. By extend 1/4" of grip length can allow 2 or more rounds in the double stack Hi Power mag.
Magazine wall fitted so magazine fit into the frame instead stick out (I know, I'm OCD at this point).
better chamber support.
plastic recoil rod?Why not make them steel from factory?
Remove that hollow area around the grip base.Real pain finding it in the dark and not snagging on a quick reload.
longer guide rails
Glock standard trigger is too heavy for me, I much prefer a 3.5 connector still not a hair trigger as it brings the trigger pull down to 4.5 lbs. A heavy trigger affects accuracy pulls the sights off target. Just me.
Ruger Service 6
1. start making them again
2. chamber it in .44 spl
4. parkerize or other, more utilitarian finish
w german sig P series pistol; add... nothing.
Hope to NEVER see this!!!
Do agree on the mag safety though.
Add 3.5 disconnector and extended slide release from factory
Option of not having trigger safety, but a manual safety
