Cool! I assume that tent folds flat or something? Do you have any pictures of it folded up for travel? Those truck tents have always interested me.

Thanks, I really like it. It folds into a large duffle bag plus a bag for poles. iu.jpeg
It's a Kodiak Canvas Truck Tent, check it out here: http://www.kodiakcanvas.com/canvas-truck-tent-mid-sized/

I also have a full size cabin tent of theirs. I really like it also, it's just that I'm almost always camping by myself these days, and it's just too big.

Back when I was a minimalist. Big Fun! I did upgrade to a Mountain Hardware tent.

I wish I had pictures. Years ago I was having a rough patch in life and a youth leader from a church my girlfriend went to offered to take me backpacking at the Adirondacks. I had never been backpacking. We did 22 miles in 2 days and it was absolutely amazing. We "roughed" it as much as we could. I always fondly remember that. Only electronic I saw in those couple days was one commercial airplane.

Nice camping setup you guys have there. By the way, would like to know what hitch products you guys use for the RV. I'm currently looking at blue ox but I'm open for other suggestions.

What are you towing? What vehicle are you towing with? What are the weight ratings?

I am using an F250 to tow a 21 foot trailer, so the weight is barely half of what my truck is rated for. I use a "basic" Reese weight distributing hitch with a friction anti-sway bar.

Also try camper forums like http://www.rv.net/forum/ , they have a lot of people who love diving into the esoterics of towing, hitches, etc.

For flat towing it doesn’t get much better than blue ox, they have a brake controller that mounts in the car to activate the vehicle brakes. I bought a beavertail trailer to tow my caddy behind my rig for about the same as a blue ox setup costs and you don’t put the mileage on the car. Plus I use the trailer behind my pickup for other stuff.

Here’s the trailer with a hunting blind I bought! Saved me a couple hundred bucks over having it delivered!

Here’s my hunting camp setup! I have close to three hundred acres, but haven’t had any luck hunting this year!

Hers the completed hunting blind mounted to a trailer so it’s portable!

Nice blind! Add a propane stove, portapotty, bunks, TV, satellite, a couple recliners... hopefully the deer won't bother you while you watch the game!

(yea, I'm a little jealous. Looks great!)

Well finally on the last day of deer season I got a little doe! I took it with my muzzleloader from the aforementioned blind! The shot was about 325yds, you can see the blind on top of the hill in the background on the first pic!

Here’s some pics from a couple of recent camping trips. The second ones are from torrential rains that lasted all day!
