    Thoroughly enjoyed Saturday.
    Thank you.
Made a fool of myself for downing more than one popper in the M's ;9
Has anybody else done such a thing?
Stupid, suppose my subconscious didn't want to leave anything standing.
Next time we shoot, however, we will take more time and try to get all "A's".
We will be more organized, and take one of those pouches with copious amounts of magazines already loaded with 10 rounds. (Or a bag, filled, labeled, coded, and lined up like soldiers like Don!;f)

yep! the RO said i shot 2 in a string. i thought the wind knocked the 2nd one down. i'm not sure who was right...but his opinion counted more and i ate an extra 10 seconds for it.

    Ian;
Don't feel bad, you are not the first person to ever shoot 2 poppers on one string. I have seen a couple Master Class shooters do it. But now that you have the bugs and jitters out you will have even more fun the next match. Yep, I have been know to have a few mags all loaded and setup ready to shoot. Saves a lot of extra effort during the match.

I have even seen a few people shoot all 3 poppers in one string.

My favorite is when I remind a shooter on the line that he needs to shoot "only one" round on paper with his major subcompact and he starts double tapping till he runs dry.

I have not shot two "M" poppers down but I did load only nine bullets in a mag on the M once. I missed the popper on my first shot and rang it with my second. slide lock after the first round on the last paper. :(

What's worse is I did it again later at another match.

So I am not the only ;e

For me the most difficult thing was loading the mags.
(Wish that I had seen Don's bag before we started!)
Some 10 round mags will hold 10, and some 11! so you can't just fill them up, and some of the 17 rounders don't show accurately how many rounds are in there.
You have to concentrate and count each round.
We were shooting AC. and Comp. together so instead of watching my wife shoot, I was rushing to reload mags. ^3
    All good experience though

until somebody loses an eye! ;f

Anyway, when I shoot the M I sometimes catch myself transitioning from popper number two to popper number three. I always catch myself and have to swing back to the second twenty yard target. I think it has something to do with hearing the ping and wanting to hear it again.
