Ok, we have umbrella insurance already, so that's good. Also, I understand NYC will no longer issue "retired LE" CCW anymore. It will just be the standard CCW.

Our homeowners policy and umbrella policy specifically exclude any intentional harm to another, even if done lawfully. I think most companies are the same.

I’m so glad my in-laws moved out of NJ. The only other states I travel to are DE and sometimes MD. DE concerns me but not as much as MD.
