was a good movie .. that is all
I want to see it; wife won't.
We saw "Eli" yesterday. So-so. Wife thought it was "the best" in a long, long time. She said the storyline was better than Avatar, but didn't compare to the graphics. Go figure.
Anyway, I guess Netflix will deliver.
my man BDK only gave it 1.5 BDK's. NOT GOOD!!
Yah, everything I've read said it blows large chunks.
lots of gun fights through the movie,
reloads are present
not 100 % on the logistics of the guns, as in "Loaded" glocks had the triggers in the rearward position,
some biblical things like pestilance, and what im guessing is somewhat a reference to the dead shall walk the earth,
grandma was a hoot ..
worth seeing .. as is book of eli,
and as always there was one baby in the theatre crying ruining it for me ..
took about 10~ minutes of constant crying and i asked them to leave the theatre ..
BDK is a jabbering OCD fool... I love how the Junks incessantly rag on him!
Pretty good flick.
7 out of 10 stars.
I was expecting it to suck, but was pleasantly surprised...any movie with a good guy with a carload of guns can't be all bad.
From the previews it looks like one I will wait and rent when it comes to dvd.
And maybe I listened to too many people hype up Book of Eli in other threads, but my first thought when the movie ended was "eh, that's it". I didn't think the movie was anything great.
Dude, that was the worst movie i've seen since 10,000B.C.
michael the archangel going all john woo with twin guns wasn't half as entertaining as i thought it would be. i really wish i had waited till it came out on cable or something.
