OK, I'm an über-lurker on Glock Talk, but I came across something puzzling, and I figured maybe the collectors here could clue me in. I have three Glock knives -- two 78s in OD, and an 81 in black, all with the older, round logo. I recently noticed that if you were to hold the sheathed knives vertically, with the belt clip facing you, two of the scabbards have the Glock logo on the right side, but one of the 78s has the logo on the left side. A couple of pics from the internet seem to show logos on the right side. How/why could/would a logo show up on the left side? A weird day at the factory? A clever forgery? I'm baffled.

That's not the first time we've seen this. I've yet to determine a pattern for it. @Doctadodge might have some info.
