Anyone ever read any of his stuff? I picked up his first several years ago by accident, and have been hooked ever since.

USP, I discovered Childs the exact same way. Now he is one of my faves.

Jack Reacher kicks @$$. I love those books. First one I read was the persuader. Wife gave it to me for my birthday. I'm on my fourth one now. Only gripe is when Reacher clicks the external safety off on his Glock. No big deal, I still enjoy the heck out the books.;I

He's not the only one that clicks the safety on his Glock. DeMille in The Lions Game has the protagonist doing the same thing. DeMille's book was a loser but I liked the persuader... that kind of nonsense blows it for me. I'll never read either one of them again.

When you find a mistake, go to the author's web site (www.leechild.com) and tell him about it. That's what I am going to do about a LEO identification error in his book Echo Burning . Otherwise, I really enjoy his Jack Reacher novels.
