Hi, LED ZEPPELIN fans. I've been doing some looking around, and it seems that the only way to go is to buy every single album they recorded. What do you think would be the best way to go about this? Online site, or order at a store? Suggestions?

    Thanks!

Get the disc set, best way to go IMO.

Are you referring to the boxed sets? Apparently there are two, and (from what I researched) I'm not sure that you get everything they recorded. Would both sets have everything? Also read something about the songs being arranged in a special order, not necessarily chronological.
    Got any info on this?

    Thanks!

Another vote for the boxed set (sets 1 & 2?). How would you go about purchasing said set(s)? There used to be a Columbia House online site, but it didn't come up. Instead, a CD Universe site keeps popping up. Anyone familiar with this, or have any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

Def skip the third album, I guess they were going through their acoustic period.

I have the 1990 4 disk boxed set. There are a couple of new "b" sides.

I also have the 1993 2 disk that has all of the stuff that the first one didn't along with one or two more "b" sides.

There's also the BBC sessions. It's Ok if you like live stuff, but the real gem is the song, The Girl I Love She Got Long Black Wavy Hair

    Crazy talk

Immigrant Song? Gallows Pole? Staples of a generation's teenage debaucheries.

You really need every Led Zepplin disk and every collection and then get the DVD's of concert footage.
Otherwise, just listen to Journey and pretend you know the best Band.

My sister bought a "best of" album. Good enough for most people.

For me, anything after (and including) In Through The Out Door sucks.

Down-load whatever you want onto whatever device you use for listen to music????

    Who buys CDs anymore?

I could create a Led Zepplin play list, down-load it to my computer, then load it onto a flash-drive, then plug that into my car's sound system....presto, listening to whatever I want.

That's my favorite Zep album, with Presence being a close second.

Zep I was new for its time, but sounds a bit dated now.
Zep II was an extension of Zep I, but has some better musicianship.
Zep IV is good, if you smoke a lot of pot.
    HOTH is Zep Disco.
Physical Graffiti is for 15 year-olds who want to impress their Goth girlfriends - and fail.

What did I miss? Nothing of relevance...

That said, I have the entire CD discography, and it's one of the few catalogs I have on my iPod in its entirety.
