Since most work places dont allow firearms inside, where do you keep your CCW while at work?

I usually put my carry inside the glovebox, I usually just leave the hat over the car gun.
My car is right outside my window, always in sight.

I may or may not carry a "not allowed" firearm at my job, and it may or may not reside in a IWB holster on my person.

Seriously though, just keep it concealed on you. Your work cant search you and if you conceal it right no one will be the wiser. It could end up saving your life.

Unfortunately I work a very physical maintenance job climbing in and out of machines, bending, crawling, hammering etc. I couldnt risk my job whatsoever because Id be fired on the spot, and theres no way I could always keep it concealed.

My employer "encourages" licensed carry on the job. This business is not affiliated with law enforcement, military, government, or security in any way.

    Gotta love living in TEXAS!!

OP. I keep mine in my car. I would get the boot if I would have it on me at work. Sometimes I consider an lcp IWB or ankle but dont do it yet. It bothers me that I cant bring a gun to work but customers can and do.

if you keep it in the car invest in a steel lockbox and find a solid way of securing it. it won't prevent a very savvy thief but its much better than nothing

My employer scans everyone exiting the building. Not submitting to a scan/search is grounds for termination of employment. If they suspect a theft has taken place or someone has a firearm, the police are called. In my state, they can't search your car or require you to have no firearms in your car.

I have a soft tuck holster Velcroed between the the drivers seat and passenger seat. When the gun is the soft tuck it cannot be seen unless you stick your head on the floorboard looking under the seat. Even then you only see part of the soft tuck holster and it is the same color as the trim so it looks like something just hanging loose.

When i cannot carry my g21 somewhere such as the post office or work(sadly) i have an aftermarket strongbox made to go under my TJ's seat. It's bolted between the seat and the floor of the jeep. While it could be opened or removed it's going to take quite an effort and some tools.

You forgot to ask the address where they work and where they stick the spare key outside.

I use gunvaults to secure weapons in my vehicles (no, not including the Harley)
We used to have a policy that authorized folks could carry, but our Bernie loving office manager had it changed to no weapons, claiming it was an insurance issue. The owner and his son carry, but I leave mine in the vehicle, while mainting several routes to get to it quickly should the need arise.

I carry enough junk around at work without needing a gun to add to the load. Don't have one in the truck, either.

Most of the locations I work do not allow them on the property. If one was to get caught, you would be talking to the Feds. Vehicle searches may be done at anytime and K-9's are randomly walked through the parking lots.
