It arrived yesterday courtesy of Netflix, and WOW, what a great film!!!!

I was bummed by the ending (I wanted to see him finish his work) but MAN, what a GREAT FILM!!!!!!!!

It's like an even more violent version of "Taken."

Frankly, I couldn't believe that hollywood produced a movie like this!

That is all, no spoilers, unless you request them.

    Thanks for the heads up.
I just ordered it from Netflix.

Don't tell me, but I hope the ending isn't that bad. I hated the ending of "No Country for Old Men".

    Any more action "payback" movies?
Kill Bill is a favorite and I'm not into swords.:)

I thought it was a good movie.

I feel the same way about the ending, I thought it could have ended differently.

The rest of the movie is awesome enough that it makes up for the less-than-awesome ending. :)

As for other "payback" movies, definitely "Boondock Saints", "Lucky Number Slevin" and of course "V for Vendetta."

That's all that comes to mind now. :)

Drjones, thanks for the heads up. I was going to add it to my Netflix que but found it already there, way down at the bottom of the list. Moved it up to the top. Can't wait to see it.

If it were to have had a Hong Kong ending where everybody got killed instead of the trite Hollywood ending, it would have been an awesome movie.

"An Innocent Man" Tom Seleck and F Murray Abrams Selek transforms from nerd to street wise badass. Bad guys are REALLY BAD!

"Mister Majestic" Charles Bronson don't get even...he gets ahead!

"Taken" Liam Neeson. they just messed with the wrong guys family, that's all.

Very good movie. He is so good going back and forth with the judge in the movie and being interrogated.

    What about...
"Payback" with Mel Gibson. I thought that was a good payback movie.

I loved that movie. I went to theatre to see it and actually felt like it was money well spent. I recommended it to some people at work and they liked it.
