My wife found this for $10...

Some old lady in a rich suburb had it and used it 3 times; didn't like how her tea tasted.

I didn't really need one, but my wife thought it would be nice to have for her tea, and at $150 for one new...:dunno:

I *love* the Keurig for tea but I don't care for any of the KCup teas. I use a My KCup with various loose teas or I just run a cup of hot water (a LOT easier than waiting for the tea kettle to get hot or nuking water!) and drop in a bag.

We got one for Christmas I don't drink as much coffee as my husband does so I didn't think I'd like it as much as he does...but I swear, I use it more than he does!! I am really surprised at how much I use it!!

    That's a great find.

When my wife first bought our Keurig I made fun of her and thought a single cup coffee maker was a dumb idea. A week later I had to admit I was wrong and it is now my favorite kitchen appliance.

Great $10 find. Foolish woman - she could have easily gotten $100.

luckily here in nc close to me , there is office store that has every flavor made , plus the real winner is for 15 bucks you can pick 24 of your favorite flavors, no more buying a case with only 4 good flavors . im like kid in candy store there llol.

BTW, if you go to their website, you can register your machine and buy the coffee at good discounts.

Are those plastic cups (containing the tea or coffee for brewing) good for one cup of (tea or coffee) only?
I mean if so...those 24 packs are horribly expensive at $16-30 per pack (at Ebay). I'm paying like $5-7 for the box of quality red tea that's good for 40 servings.

1 cup makes one serving, so you are correct. Not the most cost effective but fast and still cheaper then a coffee shop.

Yes, too expensive for tea. The instant hot water is the way to go for tea and hot chocolate. Also works good for french press coffee. The only problem with that is cleaning the french press.

Kuerigs are neat in function but they are designed like crap. I brought the one from the office home that died after a year and tried to fix it. Terrible design, worst I have seen.
