Hello, I always hear on this forum how there are issues with the "softer" metal used on the extractors on late gen 3 and all gen4 models. I was wondering what you thought of this, and if this is a problem blown out of preportion? Should a glock with this extractor still be able to last as long as its predecessors ?

    Thanks for any input.

Not an issue as far as I am concerned, chalk it up as isolated. You can get a soft piece in any batch of hardend material.
