These Korean ribs turned out too good last night to not share pics of. If you have a grill specialty, let's see it!

I'm blocked from Photobucket at work now (the IT screws seem to get tightened a little more every day - on of these days even GT might make the list), so I've asked a good friend to post the pics in this thread for me.

The recipe is "Galbi". Dunno if that's Korean for Siamese or not, but I make mine with cross-cut beef short ribs.

Is it like a sweet oriental glaze you put on them? Sounds tasty.

BTW: I'm going to PF Changs for lunch. Mmmmm!

Oh no, they were quite tasty. I've never eaten anything bad at your place.

I have never seen ribs cut like that. Is that from your grocer or did you have to go to a meat shop/butcher?

The recipe can be found at post #73 in this thread:

Last night I used mirin instead of traditional sake and wound up with the best batch of ribs I've ever made.

I have a butcher cut them for me. I ask for "cross cut short ribs, no more than 1/2" thick". If dealing with someone new, I always ask to see the first cut to make sure they understand what I'm talking about.
