I'll be Hanging at The Hyatt in Henderson. Not sure if that is Slumming or Not :)

    Can't be to Crazy - It's a Biz Trip
I figure 50 for dinner (No Drinks)Tip Extra

25 buck or less for lunch and breakfast.

Rio - is that on W Flamingo Rd.

    How Far
30 Min or so from The Strip or The Hotel is Fine

The Palace Station! I know, you probably are like WTF??

Trust me. Inside the casino there is a small bar, it only seats about 10 and they serve AWESOME cajun stuff! They can make it as hot as you can stand.

well, for CHEAP mexican food, I go to Roberto's (place is like crack to me, had it 3 days in a row now). It is a chain and I can try to get you an address near Henderson when I have some time. There is a ClaimJumper off 215 and Green Valley Parkway I have heard good things about... there is also a Roadrunner off Pebble and Eastern that is a fun place with GREAT food..

My wife's favorite resturant in the whole world is the Shintaro in the Bellagio Hotel. Take the entrance across from New York New York, past all the stores and go left as you reach the casino. It is right there on the left. Check out the living jellyfish behind the sushi bar even if you don't eat there. If you do, ask for Mark, the manager, and tell him Colonel Klink sent you and you will be well cared for.

The buffet at the Bellagio is totally beyond description. Do not go there if you are not hungry. The buffet is a treat for any meal. I went way off my diet there!

The best cup of coffee, that I didn't make myself, was at the McDonalds next to the Westward Ho and across the street from the Riveria. Have fun!

I'll agree about Roberto's, that stuff is awsome. In-N-Out Burger is my other favorite cheaper fast food.

I might be the only one, but I thought the Rio seafood buffet was a BUST!

Lobster tails (which is a VERY kind description of the gross crawdad tails) were icky.

Most of the other stuff was frozen then rehashed lumps of ick.

The prime rib and the desserts were good though.

The line/wait was LONG.. About 90 minutes...

Definitely NOT quality seafood, but some are into quantity instead which is OK,
    just not my speed...

If you go to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, eat at Mr. Lucky's and ask for the special. It is a steak and fried shrimp for $7.77. It's not on the menu but they always have it.

Emeril's at the MGM. Very good. Probably the best place I ate last year when I was there. I had BBQ shrimp and my wife had some sorta fish in a red pepper sauce. Both were very good.

For steak, the place at the Luxor (the RA, IIRC), is fantastic! Pricey, but worth it. Skip the Italian place at the Excaliber, pretty bad. Rum Jungle in Mandalay Bay is pretty good if you want Brazilian stuff. Damn good rum mixed drinks as well! They have a russian resturant there as well, haven't tried it, but will on my next trip.

i guess im an exception, i cant stand Robertos but thats me. There are tons of great places to eat here..Claim Jumpers, as somebody else mentioned, kicks ***. They have the biggest portions Ive ever seen. Most all casions have good places to eat so just go to a different casino and check it out.
